Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Day 2: In Cairo, visit the Giza Plateau, home to the Pyramids of Khufu and Khafre and the Sphinx. Then visit the sites of Memphis and Saqqara
Day 3: Domestic flight Cairo / Luxor. Board the river cruise
Day 4: Luxor / Esna. Tour of the Left Bank of the Nile, Thebes, the Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Medinet Habu
Day 5: Esna / Edfu / Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Horus
Day 6: Kom Ombo / Aswan. Tour of the Kom Ombo temple, visit to the Aswan dams, and tour of a papyrus institute
Day 7: Aswan. Short felucca cruise, stop at Kitchener Island, and tour of its botanical garden
Day 8: Aswan / Esna
Day 9: Esna / Luxor. Pass through the lock, visit the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple
Day 10: Domestic flight Luxor / Cairo. Tour of the Saladin El Awouby Citadel and the Mehmet Ali Mosque, followed by a stroll through the souks of Khan El Khalili
Day 11: Cairo. Tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
Day 12: Cairo / Alexandria. Visit to the catacombs of Kom El Shugafa
Day 13: Cairo / Return flight
